This course follows on from the Level 3 Diploma and deals with more complex issues that Accountants have to master. It requires a more in depth knowledge of the accounting standards and framework that influence accounting practice. We develop your ability to analyse, summarise and explain essential accounting procedures.
The course is taught by module with an assessment at the end of each one.
Preparation of company accounts, analysis of financial performance, budgeting and credit management, business tax and management of accounting systems.
A professional qualification that is recognised by employers and which gives exemptions from exams for qualifications awarded by the Chartered Accounting bodies.
Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Accounting. Attendance and number of resits taken to pass a unit will also be taken into consideration.
You get three exemptions from ACCA exams and five exemptions from CIMA.
Your standard of written English needs to be at a high level because much of the course requires written responses.
You should allow 9-12 hours a week in additional study time.
